Christmas Day 2007 and a glorious motorway sunset between the Midlands and Wales. I was rather pleased especially as the car was moving and I was playing with manual settings.

My new camera (Nikon D40) and a frosty misty drive. These first seven photos were all taken from the window of the moving car! (No I wasn’t driving).

Warming by the fire. A real fire is great for putting you in a festive mood!
Beautiful sunset and …
… over the Chase Road to spot deer. We did see some grazing but even with a full moon and clear sky it was too dark to get a decent photo of them.
