I was tagged by Camille as part of a meme to have a conversation with your teenage self.

My friend has the most enormous squashy sofa and I so enjoyed sitting on it yesterday drinking tea with her and her lovely fella.
It’s so enormous that if I sit on it only my ankles and feet dangle off the edge of the cushion. Or if I sit with my feet on the floor it’s more of a lie than a sit (as illustrated).

After the deer drawing earlier in the day and enjoying drawing those wonderful legs - I found myself fascinated by the Manchester United players legs while we watched the FA Cup Final.
Photo from the BBC www.bbc.co.uk
Their white shorts, long black socks and light boots looked so odd and from a distance they seemed to have fragile little stick legs like my deer drawing.
I drew this from the tv so excuse the technical innacuracies with the shirt!

First drawing of a deer with the idea of learning more about it’s shape to develop into a doodle. Lost proportion on the length of the legs.
I love the wonderful angles - almost robotic. Yet looking back at the photograph so elegant and graceful and I think I missed that in my drawing. Interesting.
Their legs scare me. They look so fragile - I don’t know how they run around on them without them snapping.
