The scan has lost some of the softness of the watercolour - but at least Paul gets to see the real deal.  He also made me a card which I love but until he starts his own art blog (hmm) it will stay exclusive to our mantlepiece

TShirt Store Re-Launch (Doodle)

I’ve been busy working on the re-launch of my UK/EU tshirt shop this week.  There will be lots of new designs and products including the introduction of polo shirts (which are also fairtrade/fairwear).

Still a little way to go - so the new store should be ready in August.  Then I can set up new designs and products for the US/Worldwide store.

All this means I haven’t been doodling or doing other things for the last couple of days.  I have a couple more days of work for the UK store and then a couple more for the USA store, so there might be a few less doodles to show in the next week or so.

It will all be worth it I promise :-) Will let you know when it’s all done and ready.

This is mainly an exercise in moving the pen and just drawing something today.  Also an excuse to try out the brush pen and get to know it a little better.

I wasn’t entirely sure what expression to put or indeed what the expression I did draw says. 

I also do a mental scan of my well being, energy levels, symptoms, state of mind, needs and so forth every now and again throughout the day.  The scan before this drawing was undecided about how I feel - in every sense. It’s about 4 hours on and I’m still not sure.

Ambitions (Doodle)

My ambitions.  At least a selection of ambitions. 

Mostly “want to do one day” than your average ambitions.  No “earn x by 2010″, “climb Everest” or “find a cure” here. 

It was in fact tempting to put quite small and ordinary things on the list - like “get a haircut”, “declutter house” and “cook my husband a meal”.

Wet Friday (Doodle)

20 July 2007.  Forgot to take my self portrait photo for the first time.  Pre-occupied with a headache and with hubbie being stuck on the M50 motorway for 6 hours.  Quite disappointed after 77 days straight taking a photo every day.  Oh well.

Did a little doodle that evening in an absent minded way - about rain I think.  So added this to my self portrait project as a sort of place holder and reminder of why I missed one.
