Tortie – Work in Progress – Photos #6 (Painting)

This photo may give you a sense of the size of the painting which is approx 60cm x 60cm on deep canvas.

The tortoise painting is going slowly. As you might expect from a tortoise!

This post is entitled Work in Progress but doesn’t show much progress!

I’ve had a couple of commitments this week which have left me too ill/exhausted to do any painting but I’m hoping I’ll be able to do some more in the coming week.

That’s amazing! Be sure to post again when you’ve finished 🙂

It’s awesome to see how big the picture is. I’ve become so accustomed to working digitally, to viewing digitally, that it always seems hyper-real and extra special to see an actual print or a painting in it’s natural environment.

  3. Thanks both.

Tanya I tried to take a photo of me with the canvas just holding the camera and couldn’t fit him all in! I realised as digital pictures a 60cm canvas is the same size as a 20cm one.
