Snow Front – Vivi (Photography)

A photo taken back in February 2009 from my recently developed roll of film. I’ll assure you there is no snow in the Midlands of England in July.

Oh Rachel, now I am all nostalgic.

Snow, my god, if we have a few flakes down here, say, February 23 each year, we can count ourselves lucky. Says she who grew up in a part of the world where we had to dig ourselves out of the house in the morning – I think you and I have covered the joys of snowmen in a previous post. And what of snowball fights?

Why NOT talk about snow in the midst of summer????????? You might have created a new wave, Rachel. Something along the lines of ‘post modern winter’.

That’s one thing that digital photography will never have over film…the joy of finding an undeveloped roll and having no clue what the contents may be until after processing has happened.
